Wood vs Chain Link

Hello,

Planning on making my outdoor portion of the dog kennel and just wanting to get opinions on chain link vs wood panel. Our house is in a pretty quiet wooded area but there will be quite a bit of birds/squirrels etc. Would it be better for the dogs to be able to see out with the chain link or keep them from seeing out with the wood panel? Price does not really matter because it is not going to be too expensive either way.

Thanks!

I think chain link would be better than the wood because it is can't be chewed and will last longer. I would prefer the dogs to be able to see out. But if that would become a problem, there are plastic or wood strips that can be woven thru the chain link that would block their view.

I would go with chain link....and if you want to block the view the strips are great. We used them with my low vision golden to kept him from running into the chain link.
