High Velocity Dryer or Dyson Grooming Brush?? Best for hair!

Which do you think would be better for getting some of that hair out so I can keep it out of the house? I've got a Dyson DC50 Animal and was thinking of buying the Dyson Grooming Tool (Dyson Groom Tool StainlessStainless look Dyson Groom Tool - Best Buy)
or a High velocity Dryer. I can get the Dyson Grooming Tool for $37 from a buddy who works are best buy. Which would be best for getting rid of the hair? Would i still need a slicker brush with the HV Dryer? What are some good HV Dryers? Is 2 HP strong enough or would I need more power (4HP)?

I got the 4HP dryer and I love it. The dogs didn't mind it either.

I have and love the 4HP metro dryer. No experience with the Dyson. I still finish with a slicker after using the metro though. It has the advantage of blowing water off a wet dog (we go out rain or shine)

Awesome, I'm thinking of getting the Metro Air Force Commander 4HP Dryer:
The reviews all seem great. How long have you had yours? Would you consider this somewhat of a long term investment (built to last me through the years?) Or would i be expected to replace in a few years or less? Thanks for the replies!

I got the variable speed one and love it. I watched the fur fly off them. It's built to last.
