So, my dog loooves water and now that it's warming up I was looking for things I could do/get for him to play with outside. I am looking for a hard sided kid pool for him to splash in and we've been playing with the hose a lot, but are there other fun things I can do with him and water? I looked into some other kid's water toys but most are soft and I was afraid his nails might rip them. But I know I can't be the only other owner of a water loving GSD. (And I live in the desert, so there's not much in the way of rivers, lakes, etc nearby)

Have you tried a sprinkler? Fiona will stand over it and then bite it.

Mine go nuts over sprinklers - biting and playing with the water :)
