I thought the pan (floor) of our dog's crate was made of metal, but I came in the other day and our dog had destroyed it, thus proving that it was indeed made of plastic. Without something in there she'll start scratching the carpet. Where can I get a replacement pan made of metal?
I know for a fact that the crates we used years ago had metal pans, but I guess companies are trying to go el cheapo. That won't work with my destructive dog. I guess my only recourse would be to try to get some sheet metal and make one, but she needs something quickly. |

I don't know who sells metal crate pans anymore, I think the reason they went to plastic was the weight issue, lighter weight, and probably money..
Mine end up cracking and I've found the prices of pans are almost as much as a new crate!
