Hand held Vacuums

I'm in the market for a good hand held vacuum (non cord?) for the car. I can't stand all of the dog hair and I would like to get a really good one that will do the task of picking up that hard to pick up dog hairs.
Any suggestions??

I find the cordless ones pretty wimpy overall. Tried a few. Perhaps there is something new and improved out there but I ended up with a very powerful Eureka handheld that has a nice long cord. Works on the hair no problem.

What about Dyson hand held. It works great for me, suction is impresive. but is really expensive.

Thanks Frank, I was looking at a couple of Black and Decker models but the reviews said that the battery life was not good. I was willing to spend up to $75.00 on a good one but I can't justify buying a Dyson (even though I want one) because they are so expensive and I'm only using it on the car.

I am looking for a vacuum for my house.
My puppy comes home in 3 weeks. Is your shepherd
a plush? That is what the breeder said my boy will be.

Yes, my boy is a long coat, but not as long as some I have seen. I will say that despite him being coated he does not shed nearly as much as my last stock coated dog. I really don't vacuum nearly as much as when I had Elsa. Good luck getting your pup!

I got a black and decker for 40 was not impressed and then my dog chew up the charging cord, guess she was not impressed either. This is the only thing she ever went after.

I went out and bought a Black and Decker (can't remember the model) It was cordless, but it was horrible! I returned it right away. It didn't hold a charge for more than 1 minute, I kid you not! I tried charging it all day and still it only held a charge for a couple of minutes.
I guess I'll be sticking to the quarter vacuum at the drive through car wash!
