Question about biking

I installed a Walky Dog for WD to go on short biking trips with me.
I would like to know what everyone uses in material: harness (front clip or normal), martin gale collar, regular collar etc. And how this works for you?

I am planning on getting one of these for my dog, and I have been watching videos about it on the dog outdoors website. They recommend using the EzyDog Padded Chest Harness. They say you should use a harness so it doesn't hurt the dogs neck. I am planning on getting this harness for Grizzly. You can go here

i used to ride on trails with kyra, i always felt asphalt would be too much for her joints. since i was on bike trails, she would be off leash. i had to stop do to the influx of bears and sightings.

I use a fursaver and a prong until the dog knows what is expected.

With Stark, it took 1 time.. he is now on a fursaver with a leash.

Zefra has gone a few times now (winter now) and was on a prong and fursaver. I think I could take the prong away but will have to wait until spring to continue working her on the bike.

Too much snow now! :(

With those attachments I\'d probably use a harness, but for the initial training I\'d run a leash to a prong collar as well and then fade that once the dog gets the concept and is OK on the attachment.

i would teach my dog to run/heel beside the bike.

I always use a harness.

harnesses, prong collars ? attached to a bike, unless there is a break away these are not things i would do.

I use a Springer and am not familiar with the Walky Dog, but I use a fursaver and then a leash attached to a pinch.

I use a Walky dog with a flat collar. I have used a harness in the past, but found it chafes the underarm area.
