Unless I was familiar with the supplier and their products, I probably wouldn't buy a collar for bitework I couldn't see and feel in person. I have a 1" I use for bitework but it's very thick, strong, supple leather and has the agitation collar design (where the D-ring is on the end so the collar passes through it before it buckles, not a D-ring attached to the collar). Now that I think of it, I've actually done a protection trial with this collar. My dog is 70-75lbs though. I bought mine in person from one of my dogs' breeders who sells gear, so I'm not sure where it's from.
