I am in the car business, and I can tell you that the suburban or Yukon xl are both great vehicles. I love the room in the Suburban. Even with the 3rd seat in you have excellent space in the back for all your gear or dog stuff. I strongly considered a Suburban for my own family prior to buying our Nissan Titan crew cab. The only reason I went with the Nissan was it was a trade in and I couldn't pass on the deal.
