Thanks , but unless you folks do any towing stay with the 1500. Mine rides VERY stiff. Thats the price i paid for the 3/4 ton running gear. I do mean heavy towing, im using mine to to a trail/project vehicle

I do have the 1500 and love how smooth it is.

yes, thats the one thing i miss about having a 1500 which i test drove before i ordered mine and thats the almost Luxury ride compared to mine.

I am in the car business, and I can tell you that the suburban or Yukon xl are both great vehicles. I love the room in the Suburban. Even with the 3rd seat in you have excellent space in the back for all your gear or dog stuff. I strongly considered a Suburban for my own family prior to buying our Nissan Titan crew cab. The only reason I went with the Nissan was it was a trade in and I couldn't pass on the deal.

I have a 2002 Suburban, bought it new to travel with my kids sports events. The kids are now grown, the Suburban has 245,000 miles and still runs geat. If it ever dies, I will buy another one.
