Default Is there any standard collar that made of steel..?

Hi,

I like the look of the choked collar that made of steel/chrome and I wondered if there's a regular collar (without the possibility of choking) that looks exactly like the the choked collar..?

Many Thanks!

I don't think so. Why not attach the lead to the dead ring?

When I wanted that look I just put my tags on a scissors snap and held the rings together with the snap. Did not even thread them through each other so absolutely no chance of a strangle.

I remember looking for a martingale collar using chain as the neck part (Kind of like a prong only with chain, not prong links) and never found such a thing. All I could find was a nylong collar with chain for the leash to connect to.

Ok so they DO make chain martingales - HS.

Yes I found it and edited my post. Not something I looked a lot for. I just pretty much use coated nylon center ring hunting collars that are cheap.

I think it would be more dangerous to leave a collar that fits so loosely on a dog, even to walk with (on the dead ring) it's not got a good fit, as it slips over the head. If it can slip over on, it can slip over off, too.
Or get hung up on something.

Yes, That's what I was looking for.. but according to the shape of the connection to the collar, How exactly can I change the size of it?

Thank you ALL!

You don't. You have to measure your dog and purchase the appropriate size.

There's a limited traction slip collar by Sprenger, it has a locking plate that can slide up and down the chain to set a point the collar can't contract beyond. It's a standard 2.5mm close link chain so looks and works exactly like a normal choke chain. They're only available in stainless steel which means they're built to last.
