I have 2 plactic travel crates in the bed of my truck for my boys, but I am finding it difficult to open the doors because of arthritis in my thumbs. I have seen dials on some crates instead of pinching to open. Anyone know where to get them?
Also (in light of recent events ) I would like to start locking my travel crates ,so if I need to run into a store or something I won't have to worry about them being stolen. Any ideas??

I guess I would start by looking up the manufacturer of the dial doors (not sure what I would call them, but I have seen them too). You may be able to order just the door, but not sure if they are universal enough to fit the crate you have now.

Look at cherrybrook.com under Vari-Kennel replacement doors. They have the replacement doors with what appears to be the dial type of latch rather than the pinch type. I think a bike lock would work if you put it between the door and side openings. I'm glad you're thinking about locking them up!
