Very nice! That will definitely be something I save up for. It's not a huge deal currently as my pup has yet to hit 40lbs at almost 6 months, but once she is bigger I really don't want to have a permanently folded seat. I need to figure out a seatbelt situation for my lab as well. He grew up sleeping on the front floorboard of my passenger seat, and I've started to get particularly attentive on how dangerous this would be should I get into an accident. I would feel awful. Safety is number one now, especially having two dogs instead of one, it makes it a bit tricky to contain everyone!

you can find a crate that opens from the side.
i'm not sure if they have them but try RayAllen manufacturers.com and dr'sfosterandsmith.com.
