Probably a couple of years ago I saw a big beautiful Boxer in PetSmart with the coolest collar. It was very wide, metal and had the dog's name "Sargeant" made into the collar. Not added onto the collar, MADE in to it, like the letters were metal and kind of made the collar. I have searched and searched online for a person or company that makes it, but had no luck. Anyone ever seen a collar like that?

It can be done with these if you know how to weave. But these are dog collars made from paracord. They make bracelets for us too and are marketed as survival bracelets. Pretty cool stuff.

I don't really know how it was constructed because I didn't get close enough to really look at the details, but I guess you could consider it chain in that it must have had links to make it flexible rather than rigid. There were two rows like this ==== and then the letters connected the rows on top and bottom. Maybe the letters slid on with the top and bottom pieces going through the top and bottom of the letters. It appeared to be about 3 inches wide... I know this probably doesn't make sense. Maybe I will draw it and post a pic..
