These seem like an interesting enough idea, with the increasing amount of people with smartphones and all.. has anyone tried these?

Interesting idea, indeed. As long as everyone has computer access I suppose it would work. I honestly prefer the simple name and number tag, though. Things are getting super complicated!

That looks like a pretty neat idea, but I prefer the address and phone number on the tag if I found an animal... I'd much rather take it straight to its home if it's from the area than to take it home and expose it to my animals while I figure out who it belongs to... I figure I have a better/quicker chance of seeing my pets the same way if they ever got out.

Hmm interesting idea but I just have the old fashioned phone numbers on my tags. I had thought of putting a url on my dog's tag in addition to the other info but I didn't have a line to spare.
I do have a USB dog ID tag but I haven't really used it much. I actually don't know very many people who have Smartphones and the ones I know who do mostly don't use that scan feature so they would not know what to do with it. |
