Sometimes I feel left out that I can't buy cute bags to put my dogs in (I suppose I could, but it would be called a suitcase), I wanted to get the dogs cute little trendy backpacks (manly trendy for Jax) for when we're out shopping. Has anyone found any?

I don't think there are a lot of "fashionable" packs for dogs because most are made for usefulness rather than looks.
If it's just for looks you could modify a kid's pack but I would not use that to put any actual weight inside. Another option would be to get a plain dog backpack and then add a few patches or some stick-on crystal embellishments to personalize it. Here are a few I found somewhat "stylish": Jeep pink camouflage design dog backpack with adjustable straps If you want REALLY fashionable: Gucci Dog Backpack, Handbag of the Day I don't know where you can buy one, but Old Navy also made dog backpacks a while ago: http://i.ebayimg.com/15/!Bwh6MC!BGk~$%28KGrHqIOKk!EwR,phjDzBMJ%28Z1WUyw~~_ 3.JPG |

I have Ruffwear Approach packs for my dogs, and I think they're actually pretty nice looking as well as extremely high quality and functional.

Is the goal to have a functional backpack or to make the dogs look cute?
If the primary goal is to have a functional, quality backpack, you cannot go wrong with the ones RuffWear produces. I have the Approach pack in green and it's a very nice looking pack. But, more importantly, it's well made and it's excellent for those long day hikes (or weekend hikes). It's a little big for casual walks about town. If the primary goal is making the dogs look cute, have you considered colored bandanas? I had a ton of bandanas for Abby to wear, for different holidays and stuff, and people loved them. Having a bandana seems to make a dog so much more approachable. |

I love the green ruffwear approach as well. It holds up great, holds a lot of stuff, and looks GREAT on Frag. Not trendy per se, but very nice looking.

I was looking for both cute and functional... Something along the lines of the Gucci one that ChicagoCanine posted (without it being $410
)We live in the city and it's almost patio season... Last summer Jax was still an approachable little puppy but this year he's lost that edge... People in my neighborhood are idiots and a Louis Vuitton bag would totally make them forget he's a GSD ![]() I saw a dog with a Coach harness/bag type thing but I can't seem to find it. |

Wonder how silly this would look?? Depending on, if they could also make the backpack part bigger. wouldn't hold much...
