I was thinking about doing this... anyone every tried? I'd get the smallest dual axle trailer I could find, insulate all sides, top, and bottom, and put a low profile RV a/c unit in the roof. There would be a generator involved but I've not yet planned that part out yet. The kennels would be removable so I can use it for transporting my dirt bikes, use it as a "rough" RV, or general moving of crap around
Anyone ever done this? Pit falls? Lessons? Suggestions?

Hmm... Interesting thread! I've considered the same thing myself.
Safety and noise would be my main concerns... I'd imagine the trailers sold as dog trailers would have more reinforced sides than the regular fibreglass ones (although I think the regular trailers look cooler). Also the shocks (if any) on it... if they spend the entire time in there hitting the roof of their crate, I can't picture being able to get them in it a second time! ![]() ETA: I'd maybe spend some time riding around in the back myself just to see if I'd consider putting my dogs in it... it could just be a terrifying experience from the get-go. Most of the cargo trailers are a very rough ride compared to a dog trailer.
