So I bought a bed/pad thingie
to go inside the crate for Glock, but I am looking at just a regular bed for him outside of it. I plan on him being in the crate at night, but when we are just hanging around I would like some sort of bed for him to lay on. What kinds of beds have you guys gotten for your dogs? I can't decide if I should get a little one now, so that he can snuggle up inside of it and then get a bigger one later.

Rocky has this one:
We first bought the Kong chew-resistant bed, but ended up returning it because it's made of this rip-stop material that is VERY NOISY every time the dog moves a muscle.

For what beds cost, I would by a large one. I have the large 35x50 size. Foster and Smith has that size in the orthopedic kind for $80 with no shipping costs.

I just ordered a custom one of these. Wicker costs nothing here in Cambodia and whilst I am not sure Karma will use it .....I figure she needs an option over the cement !

I have 2 large orthopedic beds, and my dogs seem very happy with them. I had some covers made to go over them so I can swap those out and wash them when they get too "doggy". I had purchased one of those raised cot type beds and they barely even looked at it, yet Odin will curl himself into a tiny little ball to fit on the foot stools in the house.
Go figure.
