The place that I have ordered tugs and such from for my puppy is having a 15% off deal today. I want to order a tracking harness but am not sure what size to get and here is why....
He fits the MED which measures a girth of 27-35 in. Aspen is 7mo and 29in in girth and weighs 60lbs. The Large starts at 32in. So...should I get the Med what he fits now, or a large, that he will/might grow into? Do you think he will get larger then 35in in girth between now and full growth? His dad was 70lbs and I am not sure of his mom's size, since she was young and I dont think finished growing (accidental litter). Addit'l note, I have a harness I can use at my trainers in the meantime.

When we start our puppies in agitation harnesses everyone at the club just passes the same one around. Some harness are way more adjustable than others. I don't usually buy that kind of equipment until my dog is full grown.
If I had to buy a harness right now, I would buy the Medium. It sounds like he would still have a fair amount of room in it to grow. It's pretty imopssible to say that he absolutely wouldn't grow out of it because they all grow at different rates...but I know the harness I have adjust from the 60lb puppy to the 85lb male. The only dog I own that it doesn't fit is the 95lb male who has a chest like a Rottweiler.
