Question Waist leash? (convertible)

Hey does anyone know where I can get a 6-7 foot leash that is convertible from a waist leash to a regular leash?
I am looking for a leash that has a regular leash handle like a normal leash (not one with just clasps on both ends like this) but also can be used as a waist leash, so for example with a clasp on the handle end, and D-rings along the leash to hook the clasp to. I don't want a leash with a "floating" O-ring though, where the leash will tighten around my waist if the dog pulls.

I used to have one that I bought at Petsmart. It had two D-rings along the length of the leash so you could wear it over the shoulder or around the waist. Is that the kind you're looking for?

I have a leather and a nylon leash like that, referred to as European or Euro Leads. And I have used both around the waist and over the shoulder. Haven't seen them in Petsmart recently, but they have them on-line: iconhttp://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=2751408

Google/search for European dog leash and youll probably come up with several other shopping options.

The "European" leashes I've been able to find all have just clasps at both ends, not a handle and clasp like I want.

I went to a local tack shop (horse supply) that does leather work and had them make me a leather leash to my specs. I asked for a 6ft leash with a clip on the handle and several d-rings and o-rings, including ones placed just right for around my waist or over my shoulder. They charged $24 and it's one of my favorite leashes.
Alternatively you could try custom making a belt leash with paracord- I've made several and its easy to customize for just the right fit :-)
Hope that helps!
