anyone have a sand box for their dog? Riley keeps trying to dig in the yard occasionally and I'm wondering if she'd get a kick out of a sand box.
thoughts?

The trainer we had in puppy class suggested a sandbox for diggers- or at least a designated area of the yard with sand in it where the dog was allowed to dig all they wanted. Right now they love 'digging' the water in the kiddie pool

I know two people that put in a sandbox and the dogs loved them. They still dig in other places in the yard, but not as much. If you have cats roaming your neighborhood, they will tend to use your sandbox as a litterbox.
