Default looking for a pack to hold doggy supplies

When I go out on walks or to the park, I usually have my pockets full of stuff - bags, treats, camera, wallet, keys, leash, and also holding a water bottle for the dog. Any recommendations for a light weight waist pack to hold everything? I'm going for a waist pack since these are almost like fanny packs, but less 80s style and more of an outdoorsy sporty look.

One of those doggie back packs would be great, but i don't know if dudley's old enough for one yet. Because of the whole growing bone issue, you may have to wait for a certain age, but if old enough,it would be perfect. It gives you relief and Dudley a job. Just something to consider for the future.

Here's one that you might like. It may be big enough to carry everything you listed depending on the size of your camera and water bottle. This company is in Arcata (near Eureka) and has great prices: http://www.northernmountain.com/deta...?ClearLast=Yes

Actually, you may want one a bit bigger, like this http://www.rei.com/product/747710 . If I were you, I would try The North Face Outlet in the city or in Berkeley for a good pack at a good price.

Otherwise, this looks like a nice pack that should be good. I really like Mountainsmith packs for a good pack at a reasonable price: http://www.rei.com/product/768041

Kelty makes pretty good packs too. http://www.rei.com/product/780630

I assumed that you want something that will last a while and will be comfortable when you take your pup for long walks as he gets older. If you want something less expensive, the others may have other suggestions.

I saw this really cool dog waist pack in a magazine recently, but it's a bit expensive:

You can find more non-dog-oriented 'sporty' waist packs at an outdoors store.

There is also this dog stuff bag which is more like a purse:

REI and the North Face outlet are mere blocks apart off Gilman in Berkeley, so that's a good place to start to see a variety of brands and styles. We have two Mountainsmith fanny packs and a small North Face daypack for the dog stuff.

That is a good thing that I did not know this previously. Now, when I am up there next, I only have to shop for myself with DH gone!! (otherwise, that would be too dangerous with both of us)

Thanks for the tips!

I was thinking about a dog backpack for Dudley, but he's probably still too young and I don't have any real plans for us to go hiking. It'll many be weekend park adventures and I want him to run freely so I would be carrying the stuff.

I'll go check out those outlets.

Yes! The North Face is on 5th at Gilman, (on the left, can't miss the huge sign) and REI is 6 blocks up on the right on San Pablo at Gilman.

You know there's a REI on your parent's side of "the pond" in San Carlos near where the Circle Star was? Way too convenient and visible from 101 going to/from agility class?
