Default Odd question about toys...

I use a tug toy as Maze's reward instead of food. But my problem is none of my pockets are big enough to stuff the toy in. Lol. I've gotten quite good at hiding the toy behind my back but it means I always have one hand full.

Is there anything like a clip that hangs off of the belt loop that I can hook the tug toy to? Kinda like a ball clip..

Depending on how big the toy is, it might fit in one of those Home Depot two pocket pouches. It's what I use for food rewards or holding a tennis ball.

Maybe not as cool, but I just stuff the toy in the back of my pants waistband.

I tried that.. But it kept falling out when I ran or I almost pulled my pants out trying to get it out fast. Lol.

Kitty, not sure how big your tug is but I have the same problem with my ball. It does fit in a pocket but when I try to whip it out fast it turns my pocket inside out and gets stuck, what with all the slobber already coating it. What works great for me is putting a treat pouch on my belt in the back, and I just drop the ball in there instead of treats, with the string hanging out.

My "training jacket" which is not a real training jacket but a jacket that I have designated for training (seen here) has two front pockets that are better for holding Nikon's ball toys.

Well my tug toy is about half the size of Sandy.. Lol. I'm buying a new treat bag soon (a bigger one) so I'll try that but I'm not sure if it'll work with my current one.

Well I tried the tug in the treat bag and I was right. It's to big and would just cause a bigger distraction. Lol. Guess I'll just keep proofing my handling with one arm for now.

What are you using for a tug?

I have a jute tug
and it tucks VERY nicely in to my back pocket - also is very easy to clamp under my arm for some training.
