7 month olds Ear

I was just wondering what everyone's opinion is with his ear. It went up for awhile and then it went back down. I put the breathe right strips in for about a week and the ear stood for a little over a week and now it's fallen back down. I've tried putting the breathe right strips in again but he doesn't tolerate it like he did before.

It took a total of 8-9 months for our female german shepherds ear to completely stand. She had a major-I mean MAJOR flopper that we thought would never stand. Is your baby teething? Because that was one of the major reasons our gsd ear wouldn't stand; she had an awful time teething and it was extremely painful for her and Ontop of that had a minor ear infection. Also, do your puppy's parents ear both stand? If so, it is highly likely that yours will stand. For now, just be patient, massage the base of the ear and make noises that'll force your pup to use his ears. Best of luck!

I would try the light weight moleskin from foot care products. He may be more comfortable with that. You can always put the breathe right strips on top of it, it will hold better.

I heard the cartilage keeps hardening till 8 month so I would keep putting it back on till them.

Good luck.
