Default Breathe Right Strips Caused Irritation

After have the breathe right strips in Zeus' ears for just over 24 hrs I had to remove them, they were causing irritation and redness around the edges of the strips, I had used the clear strips and non latex eyelash glue. Any suggestions as to anything else to try?

Talking ears

You have to use Tear Mender that you can purchase at Tractor supply or Walgreens. First put a drop at the end of the nose strip let stand for a few seconds and then put a drop of tear mendor on the ear half way up in the ear on the outer edge . Also let that stand for a few seconds then put them both together and hold them for a few seconds . Then do the same on the other side , do one side at a time. Get the extra strenght nose strip and wide for there ears they have more support . Leave them in as long as possiable You don't have to put much glue in the ears just enough on the end of the strips .
