Ears

My vet who deals with GSD only said at the end of the 7th month teething is done. But as soon as the calcium lost during this time tries to rebuild, growth plates begin closing until 9months. This is why ears take up to 9,10,11 months to go up. He suggested 500mg calcium, 1packet of Knox gelatin, 2tbsp cottage cheese a day. Also 500mg biotin and 1000mcg niacin. Will not affect growth or hips. I didn't use the biotin or niacin. Followed the rest for 2 weeks. Ears up.

Thanks for putting this in, mydogs! The number for biotin seems really high, though, was that maybe 500 mcg instead of mg? In any case, I think I'll check into some vitamins for my pup.
