Is this normal?

My girls ears are starting to stand up a bit and flop over the top of her head, but everytime they do longer for a couple of seconds she shakes her head to have them on the side again,

To clarify, wanted to know if I should disallow her to do this, if it stumps her ears going up

I don't think it will harm the ears. They do all kinds of weird angles until they stop teething.

How old is she?

11 weeks

Very normal. In fact, there's an entire sub-forum devoted to the various ear stages of puppies. :) I did a moderator notification on your thread to move it to Ears Up.

Thank you!

Make sure to take many pics of her different ear phases so you can get a chuckle down the road when they are just fine. My favorite is the "turn signal" head....one ear standing and the other ear is pointing off to the side away from the other ear....then again..the "helicopter head" when they are pointing opposite of each other is a charmer as well. 11 weeks and an ear or two popping up at times..you should feel lucky as I fretted over the ears for much longer a time than that. I was considering taping my own ears so my pooch wouldn't feel as silly....decided otherwise...but it was a novel idea I thought.
