Ear licking

I have 2 dogs and the older one is continuously licking the littler ones ears... Is this a problem? Does he do it for a reason?

one of my dogs does this and my beagle loves it. I think he likes the taste :p

It's grooming - done to bond and show affection. Not a problem.
