I think I have a soft eared pup :(
 

Grizzly is close to 7 1/2 months and his ears are still not up. They go up sometimes but they fall down after a little bit and aren't strong. My mom wouldn't let me glue his ears, so that was kind of a bummer :(. Do you think there is still a chance they could come up naturally, I know the gap is closing. I will love him no matter what but I would love those handsome GSD ears. Any input is greatly appreciated :)

I have heard that if there was ever a time when they both stood, they will stand again.

I am in the same situation. My pup is 8 months old on Friday. Had ear forms in for two plus months, fell out last week and ears flopped again. My trainer tape them up for me and I plan to keep them taped till she is a year old or they stand on their own since the tape is not bothering her. I have heard that some Sheperds ears have stood as late as a year so I guess there is still reason to hope..

I will hope! :) They have also already stood on there own, nice and strong when he was 12 weeks. They then fell a month later, probably the start of teething, but haven't come back up. :(

They really look like they have good bases and as said since they stood before, most likely will again. He is a fine looking pup.
