Default Why do her ears go up during intense activities???

Kaiya will be 14 weeks on Wednesday. At 10 weeks - both ears stood almost completely up for a week and a half. Then they both drooped at 11.5 weeks. Then at 12 weeks the left one went most of the way up most of the time and it's still that way - although will still droop occasionally.

Whenever I do clicker training, flirt pole or any intense exercise where she's really focusing - both ears go straight up. When she relaxes...so do they!

Both of my other GSD's had their ears up at this point. How do you know if they have 'soft' ears and is it really true that if the ears have been up once - there's no need to worry that they'll eventually go up?

(she chews bully sticks DAILY I might add...not helping!)
