Default My puppy turned 5 months

My puppy turned 5 months a few days ago, and he seemed to have gone through different stages of 'ear-styles'.. But now he gets his ears fully erect sometimes when he just wakes up or has been alone for sometime or while eating or alert. But normally both of them are still floppy, standing up or resting to the side that indicates they're almost up. Since he's 5 months, should I do anything about it? Or is it normal to not be up at this age still.

Anytime I have a pup that ears aren't up by 5 months I give support. At a minimum I would give Seal Meal supplement. Also give lots of chew items, bully sticks are good. Biting helps strengthens the muscles. And if you're really concerned you can always do ear forms.

I would not worry if they are at times up, and then go down that is just part of the teething process affecting the ears. Just continue giving your pup things to chew on and when he is finished teething they most likely will be up to stay.

Its normal, its teething time, when teething is done, the ears will be up usually by 6-7 months
