Default Ear now leaning post-ear form use in 6.5 mos old

I glued in an ear form to Dio's right ear about 3 wk ago and after 1.5 wk, he managed to rip it out and eat it. The ear was ramrod straight for a few days, then started to list towards the middle of his head. His left ear has been totally upright since 8 wk without any change, even when he went through teething. He finished teething about a month ago at 5.5 mos, so I am wondering if I should glue in another form before Christmas.

My hesitation is gluing in the form is a pain and he developed a small sore from scratching the last one (which healed in about 3 days without complication).

Does anyone have any experience with this? TIA!

Default Keep hope alive

I tried glue, foam, and tape... Nothing worked! A bite work/drug/bomb trainer I work with, told me he has had dogs who ears have came up near two years of age... My boy's ears look to be improving on their own...
