Should I Tape?

My little Dutch Shepherd is around 2 weeks shy of being 6 months. His ears stood up at 3 months and one day, but around 4 weeks ago they feel down and are completely floppy now. He can make them stand up, one more then then the other but they only stand up around a minute, they are completely floppy now and Im wondering if I should tape them or not? I know people say if they stand up at all during teething then they will stand up but Im getting worried since they show no signs of going back up except for the once in a blue moon thing.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

wish i knew what to tell you. Never had a problem. my GSD pup is 5 months old today and her ears have been up since she was 14 weeks. we'll see how her ears go. I've been told that if their ears should be up and they stand before teething, they'll stand after teething. I guess it all depends on the dog. If it bothers you, beyond the advice you'll get here, i say talk to a vet with the experience to back up what he claims.

If upright ears are important to you, I would tape them.
