Some do and some don't. It's definitely a fault and the breeder should be telling people if they know that their dogs are producing soft ears. Some breeders will even breed dogs that they had to tape themselves. As it's the look these days to produce dogs with huge radar ears, it's not that surprising.

I am sure his ears will stand..they already have before and was told that when they do and come back down for teething they will go back up...for some reason I am going to tape just to be on the safe side. He is still teething so not sure if it will help until after he is teething. The breeder we got Ares from had no adults with floppy ears and my boyfriends work partner got one from the same breeder and his ears went up at about 7 months.

Ya..his ears are huge...he could hear from a good distance. I taped them for 2 days and was going to replace the tape and when I took it off his one ear I was concerned about was up..so I just left it up. I have tried to call the breeder many times with no success. I just needed to ask her if she ever had any trouble with that in the past. His ears still wobble when he runs but I guess it will take time for them to get firm...atleast I hope so.
