My GSD will be 5 months next week and his ears are standing erect %100 of the time. Im not really sure why your dogs ears arent erect fully by now. But it doesnt seem like his ears are floppy, it looks like just the tips of them are a little floppy. No, your not being paranoid but im not sure by what age a german shepherds ears are suppose to be erected fully. keep me posted.

Some dogs just have soft ears and there is nothing you can do about it.
Have you been giving him gelatin? If not, go to the store and buy flavorless gelatin, it might help a little. Mix in with his kibble whenever you feed him.

Is this the girl that had puppies?
Maybe the pregnancy took what the ears needed to stand (like calcium) and gave it to the puppies, so they're flopping? Now, I have no idea if that can happen, but it's just a thought.
