Probably the Lamb and Rice, since Coke has been good on Canidae Lamb and Rice and previously did OK on Nature's Variety Prairie Lamb or Chicken and Rice formulas (but they are so expensive).
Have you tried these treats? They have a lot less "stuff" in them than a lot of treats. My dogs like the Turkey, Oatmeal, and Cranberry and the Bison, Barley and Blueberry. But they LOVE the Potato and Duck. Haven't opened the Sweet Potato and Fish one yet.

Natural Balance Treats.
Nope, haven't seen those. Are they dry/hard? For training I prefer something soft that's about pea-sized.

I gave the dogs a little NB and they love it. We'll see how the poops are tomorrow morning...

Lies,
They are hard. I buy the small ones (the picture on the website is "actual size". ) And break them up, the little ones easily break up into 3 smaller pieces.

But then again, I also don't like to carry soft, "mushy" things in my pockets. And I always have "cookies" in my pockets.

Keep in mind folks that because of fuel prices, shipping costs, overseas shipping costs, etc... most everything including dog food will be getting more expensive. I ship hundreds of containers overseas to customers, and my shipping costs have doubled in the last 6 months. And I know good kibble doesn't include corn, but look at the price of corn now that much of this is going into ethanol production. Ask ranchers how much their cost for corn based feed has gone up in the last year. Corn for feed pricing has gone up more than triple. Times are getting tough.

Hmmm, seems that Diamond will be processing some of the Canidae food?

Well that explains it! See what I get for not visiting more often! I just bought a new bag of the lamb and rice last weekend and Dallas has have very loose mushy stools. Time to look for a new food I guess.

Yeah, that's definitely not a good sign, and I'm sure it's not going to make Canidae feeders happy

I had all my dogs on home cooking. When I went back to kibble I started them back on canidae . I am very upset about reading about the changes that they are doing.
When I saw that last post that now it is being made by diamond and I noticed that they were one of the manufacturers that was in the recall. Even though it was not for canidae, they still were involved in the recall and that does not make me comfortable at all!!! I have another post on here about Artemis to see if that is a good food as well. Back to my research

If this doesn't make you doubly uncomfortable, I do not know what will:

I think that Canidae was the one packaging for Natural Balance in the last recall and they changed an ingredient to include the nasty wheat gluten and a couple of the products had to be recalled.

About a year earlier a hundred or more dogs died (some of them my friends) when the corn that Diamond was using (in their own products) was moldy and the aflotoxin that was created was deadly.

Sorry, but I am really frustrated, first about the changes, second about the overflow being managed by Diamond, and third that I had to find this out over a chat room. I emailed Canidae before switching to find out who made their stuff for them. They should have e-mailed me to let me know that that changed. So I emailed them and told them what I thought.

So much for customer service. I guess when "Team Canidae" responds to you, nobody knows or cares about you as a person.

Also the change to ocean fish is not heartening.

ERRRGH!!!!
