Small dog and LBP food. (Non-GSD)

My GSD pup is on fromm large breed pup. I also have a 10 lb shih tzu that likes to try to eat with my pup. I do keep her from stealing his kibble but every once in awhile she pushes him aside and chows down. My question is how bad can the LBP be for her?

Puppy food is typically higher in calories, but there's not going to be very much nutritional difference. It's definitely not going to hurt her, but it may make her a bit fat if she gets a lot of it.

Ok, i know puppy food would likely increase her weight, just wasn't sure if LBP would have any other negative effects

No it won't do anything, I would just worry about the fat content like already mentioned.

I have a strictly enforced rule that once a dog starts eating they are not to be bothered by other animals, so I personally wouldn't be allowing the behaviour. It could easily happen that one day the pup won't tolerate it and you could have a very nasty fight on your hands. JMO
