Pedegree Long Lasting Chew

Gave Jake one of their "Long Lasting Chews" for Dogs bigger than 50 pounds.

Well, I guess Long Lasting for them means 5 minutes, cause we timed Jake and it was all gone after only 5 minutes! He really enjoyed it but I was hoping it would last more than 5 minutes!

That's why I like raw bones. Much healthier for them than any crap Pedigree makes as well. Gave my boy a small marrow bone last night for movie night and it kept him occupied through two full length movies. :)

Ya he always has a Deer Antler on hand and he usually picks a medium marrow bone clean in an hour or two.

Then bones and antlers can crack the teeth on an aggressive chewer. And the recommended knuckle bone, raw.....had one of those break a tooth.

Dex is like Jake. Big rope Bully sticks last maybe 15 minutes. Stopped the raw bones and antlers because he chipped a tooth ( not sure on which one) Would love some ideas to keep him occupied with safe chewing.

I've had really good luck with the Himalaya chews as well:

And also for dogs that like wood, like mine, there's this chew:

I've found the wood one is not as tough as an antler, so possibly easier on the teeth?
