Default Best Food/Brands for White GSD (has wet stool)

I have a white GSD and haven't had much luck with foods. I've had him on Blue Buffalo for some time and now he has had really wet stool for at least a month. I took him to the vet as I usually do -- they tested him for parasites, etc and told me he was fine. That I must've gotten a bad bag of food. So I went out bought a new bag and gave him his meds (fadgyl). I've seen no improvement. Anyone else experience something similar?

Thank you

I have seen many posts on multiple forums saying Blue Buffalo causes soft stools.

We had good luck with Natural Balance and Taste of the Wild. I'm currently feeding a raw diet though.

Yes - my GSD was doing great on TOW and after all the recalls I took him off. Moved to Origen and Acana and at 50/50 dev very loose stools. Must have been too rich? Vet had to put him on WD which I do not like at all (SD). Now he's transitioning to Purina Pro Select for Sensitive Stomachs and doing well so far. My HOPE is to get him on NATURES LOGIC -- read about that food. Also there is a food called BESTBREED and they have a vet formulated GERMAN DOG. I can't get it in NC and have to order it from the company however, people with GSDs report excellent results. This food has been around for 20 yrs so it's not fly by night. The owner of the company told me that this particular food is 35% of their TOTAL BUSINESS. They will ship the food to you.
Hope this helps. I know how worrisome it is because I am right there with you! I think DrTim's might be a good choice too.
