I am no expert, but I have never heard anything good about Royal Canin on here or when talking to other Dog people I know. I got both of my dogs Off Roayal Canin and switched them to Legacy. I'm sure others on this Forum will have other good food suggestions for you.

Where are you located? Have you checked out Dog Food Reviews and Ratings | Dog Food Advisor ? A quick look shows Royal canin rated "slightly" higher than nutra nuggets. Given the two choices I'd stick with RC and see how it goes.

This does make it a little harder to find foods.
What kibble is available to you there?

Is Taste Of The Wild or California Natural available there?
If not, then you would have to stick with Royal Canin.
You could also add some fresh meat several times per week to keep your dog healthy!

I'm no expert but have had good results with blue buffalo wilderness blend. Not sure if it would be available in India and its not cheap over here in Canada. Someone told me to go with Royal Canin when I first got Jake, that didn't work out for him.
