Default Venison as a treat?

I happen to have a few extra pounds of venison this year. My dogs are both on a 5 star kibble.
Is there a way I can safely give them some venison? I was thinking partially cooked cubes.

Thanks.

Mine are on a raw diet and eat it all the time. It's by far their favorite.

You can give it to them raw, slightly cooked or cooked, in small amounts since they are not use to eating meat.
If raw, make sure it's been frozen for a few weeks before feeding.
I'd LOVE to see their faces when you give it to them!

Thanks for the reply. It has been frozen for over a month. I'm going to try raw cubes. Maybe 2-3 a day.

I won't give raw venison. I always cook it. Chance loves getting a little bit now and then as a treat. Chance has IBD and can't tolerate raw meat. Gives him the poots and I am always worried about parasites. Freezing does not kill everything. Just going on my own experience.

I ended up semi cooking it. Didn't matter for Baron, he didn't like it. He's our GSD. Our Malamute loved it. So it looks like she lucked out. I'll give her 3 a day until it's gone. Baron is such a funny dog. He only likes certain things. Every sense he was a puppy. I have given so many treats away.

I give my dogs raw venison on occasion. It's usually 2-5 years (frozen, never thawed and refrozen). My family all hunt so they give me venison when they have too much. Dogs eat it raw. It's pretty lean so not balanced but it's more of a treat/supplement.
