Vitamin E Dosage

Hi all,

Question on supplementing Vitamin E. I give Grizzly Salmon Oil to both of my GSDs. But can't get a solid answer on how much Vitamin E to give. I bought d-Alpha E-200IU from Vitamin Shop. I've read I should give 400IUs daily to both of them (female is 67 lbs, Male is just over 90lbs). Is this the correct dosage, and should this be 400 IUs once daily or 200 IUs twice daily?

My vet recommended giving Lola (she has skin issues) 500iu daily, not sure if it makes a difference splitting up the dosage, I have always just given it in the morning.

if your GSD is eating and eating and eating and losing weight - please consider testing for EPI.
