Default Does your dog like veggies?? (moved to diet/nutrition)

Drago loves crisp veggies, and will work really hard for them without going bonkers like he does for a chuck it ball or certain doggie treats. His favorite is carrots, and I love them because they are so cheap and great for training because they will not get him pudgy.

Anyone else get this kind of reaction?

Mine will take veggies over meat every time. They are just weird, I give them a piece of chicken and they just drop it and walk away, I give them a carrot or a sweet potato, they would kill each other for it. They love watermelon too.

My dog might like frozen green beans over any other treat. She loves pumpkin also. She tends to play with carrots more than eat them.

I haven't found much I can put in front of my dogs that they won't eat. About the only thing I can think of is many years ago we had a bag of tilapia in the freezer and how it got there I have no idea because we don't eat that fish so I fed it to the dogs. none of the 3 ate it and they certainly eat fish, just not tilapia. reinforced to me why we don't eat it either.

They eat veggies if I give them to them, the pick raspberries off the bush too. Fruit I know, but it's funny to see them delicately pick the berries off the bushes

Yes. Veges/fruits. The only thing they don't seem to like is bananas.
