Question Fromm

I'm starting to see lots of people with dogs that had issues with this food. I know I just switched about 6 months ago and the only reason was that I thought the only place that sold my original food was closing. They just moved. I'm thinking about switching back to Eagle Pack, they were doing just fine on that one. What is in Fromm that could make it not easily digestible for some dogs? I really can't pinpoint it and I really don't want to have to worry about poop anymore. Does anyone want to share their thoughts or experiences on this food?

I've fed the Fromm Gold Adult, Gold Puppy, and most of their Four Star line with no issues at all. Solid poo, good energy, great coats, and overall good health.

I only add a little wet food (Fromm gold), water and two to three times a week a raw farm fresh organic egg.

As to what specifically in Fromm is different...not sure

I feed the Fromm Adult (their most basic line in the purple and silver bag) to my older GSD. Haven't noticed any issues.

Wolfie eats Fromm Adult Gold Large Breed. I mix it with 1/3 can of innova adult wet food, a tablespoon of wheat germ a tablespoon of ground flax seed and a tablespoon of coconut oil. I haven't noticed any issues with it.

I used to have Ollie on Orijen but he kept turning his nose to it and ended up putting on some weight because I had to give him canned in order for him to eat it(didn't want to waste an $80 bag, tried other toppers too like yogurt/cottage cheese and he wouldn't touch it then either).

So I switched to Fromm gold large breed puppy and he LOVED IT even plain. Since then he's dropped the weight, is nice and lean, good coat. I haven't had an issue but I know of some that do.

S far it's the only dog food I know of with cheese in it, maybe that's it?? No idea lol

I never had an issue with the Fromm gold for Beau. Grim did not do well with it but he has never done with with flax in any food.

Well they get their allergy medicine and other medicine in cheese daily, so if that is the case I'm adding more to the diet

What about the flax do you think it is, if Grim had it, what happened?
