Default Veggie Life Happy Hips?

I started feeding my 8 y.o. GSD U.B. 10 of these/day per package instructions. Soon after, he quit eating for 2 days and became constipated. He's eating normally now, but is having trouble pooping. He can't do a normal poop, but does several very small ones/day. I can tell he's straining. I've since stopped feeding him these cuz I'm wondering if something got stuck. Has anybody else had issues with these "treats"?

After reading several posts, I'm going to start adding some pumpkin to his food to see if that gives him any relief. Thanks for any input and/or suggestions.
