Yet another food thread
 

So I'm switching Faelan's food again. This will make number 3 since I have had him. We started with Innova to which he had very itchy dry skin and hot spots. Then we went to avoderm because that is what my boxer does really well on, but his coat is dull and brittle on it so I am switching again. I am looking into Merrick grain free ( looked for Fromm but couldn't find it) and was wondering what everyone thought or had experienced with it. Dog food advisor gives 5 stars

Both Innova and Merrick are good foods. Where were the hotspots?? Toward the tail is FLEA'S, towards the head is food issues. That info came from my vet when Tony got hotspots. Tony is allergic to flea saliva and just one really gives him issues and he well get hotspots towards his tail.

They were on his neck with Innova. Avoderm took care of the hot spots but he's still not doing as well as I would like.
