Default Switch from BB to kirkland?

I've researched and came back with a ton of mixed of reviews. I know diamond had a recall recently that wasn't handled well but I've read a lot of people recommending kirkland. Also read a lot of reviews on the "internet" of peoples dogs dieing and what not which I find hard to believe

Reason why I want to switch. Zoey gets the BB sensitive stomach (reason why is she had hook worm and this helped, and didn't bother changing it when she was cured) but after all of our training, I'm trying to cut back on $$. Right now I spend $60 on a 24lb bag which we go through MAX 3 weeks. Our training cost right now is $75 per week and thats without the personal protection classes we will be taking soon.

Once we settle down with training, I will put her back on the Blue Buffalo, but for right now I need to cut cost's and this seems like my best option.

Thoughts?

I've been using Kirkland for about 3 years now. I started using Earthborne Holistic in September, but Kiya doesn't seem to do well on it. She kept having very soft stools so I switched her back 100% to Kirkland weight management. Lakota and Apache get Earthborne for breakfast and I mix the Earthborne with Kirkland for dinner to stretch it. Honestly I may just go back to Kirkland for all 3 dogs.

Thanks for the feedback! I think I'm going to give it a go, I'll grab a big bag this weekend and start mixing it with the BB.

Anyone else?

I LOVE kirkland dog food and I LOVE the price of it...however my boy Jerry just doesn't do well on it and he did do ok on the nature's domain grain free salmon and sweet potato that kirkland sells but he ate SO much it just wasn't that cost effective.

He now eats the Earthborn Holistic coastal catch and seems to be doing fine on it. I also give him so Prozyme with his meals too.

But I LOVED the kirkland food and really wished that my dog did well on it he just didn't, always had diarrhea and was pooping TONS. But the price was wonderful I am really tempted to try him again on it when he gets a little older see if he works through his issues or not.

My last GSD was on Kirkland since I had brought her home with no problems what soever, its great food for the price, and have heard great things about it. A few times that I was unable to get to Costcos to get it I had once tried her on Eukanuba with no success she wouldnt even touch it! She did however eat the Acana, but was more than happy to have her favorite food back! Hope this helps!

As an MBA student paying through my school out of pocket, this was THEEEE best deal for the quantity and quality.

I feed my Parker Nature's Domain from Kirklands and switch from turkey to salmon whenever he's done with the bag.

His coat is shiny and soft and is very active with a healthy weight.

I have started to add some eggs, salmon and sardines to his kibble as well for added taste/nutrition.

give it a go!!!

My newfie mix has been on it for years and he is just fine. I have my GSD on Fromms but she seems to always want to eat the Kirkland. I too am thinking of trying her on it.

kirkland shouldn't come in small bags. It's sold by costco so costco sells everything in bulk from what I see. I got the chicken and rice 40 lb bag for $30 a bag and the nature's domain salmon dry for $35 for a 35 lb bag.
