I have a self regulator. Bear will eat not a kibble over 2 cups with each meal.

Only one of my three GSD's would self regulate. But since I feed them all twice a day, he doesn't get the option or the other dogs would eat his food as soon as he walked away.

My malinois probably would self regulate after a week or so, he is not the crazy food eating puppy he was when he was younger.

Because I feed all four of my dogs at the same time, they'll all eat until they pop.

If I don't mix in any wet food (I usually add a table spoon b/c I want him to clean the bowl lol), Barack self regulates and eats more like a cat, a bit here a bit there.

Depends on the food - dry kibble/yes - she does not even like it
oatmeal cookies I've left to cool on the rack/no

We used to have a beagle that would eat until pop - I mean really pop, stomach was almost scraping the sidewalk. He used to raid the garbage cans in our neighborhood.

Perfectly timed post.

I just mentioned to my wife how I'd swear Kira measures her food.

My golden would self regulate. You could have put 30lbs of kibble in a box and he would have just eaten what he needed. Sasha on the other hand would eat until she popped if given the chance.
