I was peeved when Royal Canin did the same thing last year. When I called them out on it, I got a very snotty response and so we switched back to Blue Buffalo.

It's true, everything is getting smaller and more expensive.

I noticed on the Orijen website a week or so ago they are showing a few new products. One is kibble that is advertised as 'Whole Prey' food, which is in a new bag that looks more like the redesigned Acana bags. They are also advertising freeze dried raw foods and freeze dried treats, both of which look interesting. I'd be more inclined to try the treats than the freeze dried raw foods simply because the freeze dried raw foods tend to be prohibitively expensive .... In a lot of cases costing significantly more than just feeding a real raw diet.

There is no indication that the 'Whole Prey' kibbles will be replacing any of their current kibbles though. It looks to be a new line in addition to the regular Orijen formulas. Are these, in fact, the new reformulated versions of the current foods or are they changing the recipes of the current foods and also introducing new ones as well?
