Question honey in ontario?

anyone know where we can buy honey in ontario the kind we would feed our dog? I heard it is really good to add in their diet? But it has to be from the area we live? So not a grocery store?

In order to get the benefit of the pollen in the honey, it needs to be within a 50 mile radius and unpasteurized. Do you have a local farmer's market?

A google search provided this link

So how far is the place I linked above? If nothing else, call them and ask if there is anything closer or an indoor farm market.

You could contact the apiary in Bath and ask if they ship or if they place their honey anywhere local for retail.

Please don't litter. Neuter your pets!

local farmer's markets will probably sell it, and I can say it does make a difference...Ty has had it added for the past 6 months and has improved and his symptoms have disappeared. He had suspected allergies but to what?? unknown, but he is good now

I also have seen awesome results from giving my boy local raw honey. I was lucky to find one of our local farmers 10 min from my house has hives on their property.

Rusty suffers from fall seasonal allergies...he's miserable...then it just goes completely away until the next fall.

After 10 days 1 teaspoon in the AM, again in the PM and his itching is pretty much gone.

He loves the honey and licks it right over off the spoon.

I am now looking into bee pollen from the same farmer.

That's only 15 miles. Plenty close enough.
