For fish oil, it depends why you are supplementing. If it's for a healthy dog for a nutritional boost, I feed one human-grade Costco capsule (they're either 1000 or 1200 mg--I don't remember).
OTOH, if it's for a senior with arthritis, for anti-inflammatory effects, my vet has blessed feeding far more -- at least four capsules a day, but we worked up to that to avoid digestive upset. I give 400 mg. of mixed-tocopherol (all natural) Vitamin E. |

We don't have a Meijers here in PA...wish we did!!! But I"m feeding Cracker Bumblebee right now and he's eating it so must be better than Aldi's. Aldi's is not China. Can't remember where but I know it wasn't China. But there is something off about because he refuses it.

In the homemade diet we have Jake on (was forumulated by a canine nutritionist) he gets 2 tsp Wild Salmon Oil daily, 3 1/2 oz Coconut Oil per week and 3 tsp's Grapeseed oil per week. I haven't asked the purpose of the Grapeseed oil yet.

What about the Iceland pure sardine and anchovy oil? Anyone try that? Think I might give a shot and rotate between that and salmon oil..
