I'd give a good joint supplement at least, you can also do fish oil for healthy skin/coat, it's good for the heart and brain, good for joints, ect and vitamin C is good for overall immune health and suppose to be good for joints too. You can also feed fish in place of using fish oil. (Sardines packed in water would be a good choice)

How does your dog like the sardines, eat them okay? Do you mix with food or serve alone? Thanks!

I give Tony, a human glucosamine pill 3 out of every 4 days. These I get from Costco. I also give Tony 1/2 the recommended amount of Vetline Veterinary Vitamins every other day. If you are feeding a high quality dog food your dog is most likely getting everything they need. Also keep in mind you can over do it with vitys.

LOL, Tony inhales sardines. We have a Big Lots here and I can get a can for 40 cents. He hates sharing with the cats, but that's the way it goes.
